AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Officials with Amherst County Public Schools have confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 which includes:
- one case at Amherst County High School
- one case at Monelison Middle School
Both schools will remain open at this time.
Amherst County Public Schools officials say that anyone identified as having been potentially exposed will be contacted by the Central Virginia Health Department and/or Amherst County Public Schools.
