LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Are you ready for some winter fun? The Academy Center of the Arts will be hosting Chris Isaak as part of his “Everybody Knows It’s Christmas Tour” on December 5, 2022.

According to organizers, the event will be in the Historic Academy Theatre at 524 Main Street at 7:30 p.m.

Chris Isaak has had a three-decade-plus career, performing across the globe with his band Silvertone and creating critically acclaimed music and films.

“The holidays are such a special time for me and the pandemic left us all so isolated. I felt like a holiday album was a great opportunity to bring people together this year.  I had so much fun making this album and designing the cover,” says Isaak. “It was a joy to work with Dave Cobb and we worked in his iconic RCA studio where John Prine had placed a year-round Christmas tree to keep the holidays alive. I loved that idea so I’m going to keep that spirit alive.”

According to organizers, tickets for the event are currently on sale, with a range from $34-$107 plus taxes and fees.

Organizers also say the event is supported by the BWXT Acces Program and sponsored by the following:

  • The Sonny Merryman Family
  • Baird
  • National Endowment for the Arts
  • Virginia Commission for the Arts
