UPDATE: 911 service restored for landlines in Campbell County

UPDATE 1:02 p.m.: Campbell County officials say that E-911 landline services have been restored in the Gladys and Altavista areas Wednesday afternoon.


CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — People trying to call 911 using landlines in two areas of Campbell County are currently dealing with service issues.

The Campbell County Department of Public Safety says E-911 landline services are being disrupted in Gladys and Altavista.

If you have an emergency in one of these two areas, you are asked to call 911 from a mobile device or call the non-emergency number at 434-332-9574.
