335 runners participate in Giblet Jog 5K race in Altavista on Thanksgiving Day

ALTAVISTA, Va. (WFXR) — Organizers of the Giblet Jog 5K say the event was a success on Thanksgiving morning.

Runners laced up their shoes and hit the pavement for the 15th annual Giblet Jog 5K at English Park in Altavista on Thursday, Nov. 25. Organizers say this was the first time the race was held in person since the 2019 Giblet Jog.

They had a total of 335 runners participating this year. Below are the top three finishers for both the male and female categories.
