AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office says a routine traffic stop led to the arrest of two people on Wednesday.

It happened on Wednesday, April 27, while deputies were conducting criminal patrol operations., when they pulled over a vehicle. Deputies say after an investigation, they determined the driver of a silver 2008 4-door sedan was prohibited from driving the car.

Deputies were able to develop intelligence that led to authorities taking two ounces of methamphetamine, digital scales, and glass smoking devices.

Deputies then arrested, Bethany Worley and Timothy Cash, who are both facing possession with intent to distribute Schedule I/II substance charges.
