ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Crews are working to find a lost hiker along the Appalachian Trail.
According to the Big Island Volunteer Fire Company, they are being joined by the Bedford County Special Operations Command to search for the lost hiker.
Additional resources have been requested from Big Island, Amherst County Department of Public Safety and Lynchburg Fire & EMS to find the missing hiker.
Sunday’s incident is said to be just inside of the Rockbridge County line.
