ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Drivers can expect delays on Route 220 southbound in Roanoke County near the bridge over Back Creek. This is due to a left lane closure.

A portion of the left lane of southbound Route 220 settled following recent rainfall, and will be repaired over the next few days.

The left lane is closed about 0.2 mile north of Route 220’s intersection with Route 657 (Crowell Gap Road) and approximately six miles north of Boones Mill.

The lane closures is expected to stay in place until Friday afternoon.
