Saturday is the last day to cast an in-person absentee ballot before Election Day on November 7th.
According to the Virginia Department of Elections website, people can head to their local election office, fill out an absentee application and if they qualify, can vote right there in person.
You will need an acceptable form of I.D. Such as a passport or drivers license.
There are twenty reasons that a person can cast their vote as an absentee ballot.
Some of the reasons include:
If your business is outside of the county or city you live in.
If you are a first responder including law enforcement, fire fighter, emergency services, and search and rescue.
If you are pregnant or if you have a religious obligation.
