Dear Parents/Guardians:

I am writing to inform you that a student brought a knife to school today and gave it to a classmate. The knife was shown to other students but wasn’t used in a threatening manner. I can assure you the incident is being handled appropriately. Please take a moment and remind your child weapons of any kind are not allowed at school. If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at 853-2931.

Sincerely,

Tammy Brown

Principal
