Zyliah Saunders was able to ride in a limo from Danville to Winston-Salem to go on a shopping spree and she said the experience made her feel like a celebrity.

The Kids Wish Network is a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening diseases.

“Zyliah has been through so much that her story really touched our hearts and the hearts of our sponsors which made it easy for us to work together for her,” said Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai.

The organization released the following details about her trip:

Zyliah, her brother, and her grandparents were chauffeured from their home in a limousine hired by Kids Wish Network to the Winston-Salem Hanes Mall. When she arrived at the mall, Zyliah was greeted by the manager and a red carpet. Her first shop stop was at Build-A-Bear Workshop where she and her brother got to make their own teddy bears. Zyliah made a pink bear designed after one of her favorite Disney princesses Cinderella, complete with a sparkly blue dress and glass slippers. After creating the perfect fuzzy friend, she headed to Justice where she was given a gift card and escorted to her very own dressing room decorated with a sign that read “VIP Zyliah” and pink streamers.

Zyliah enjoyed lunch at TGI Fridays and went to some of her favorite stores including Aeropostale, Bath and Body Works, Box Lunch, Belk, Dazzle Up, Claire’s and Finish Line. Each store gifted Zyliah a goodie bag or gift card when she arrived. After an exciting day shopping for all her favorite things, Zyliah and her grandmother received a fabulous makeover at Macy’s, Zyliah even got to pick out various outfits to take home.

As part of Zyliah’s wish, she and her family also saw Disney on Ice. They had rink side seats and experienced all the excitement up close. Zyliah had a magical time and even got a special glossy picture book with photos from the show. After the show Zyliah and her family had a wonderful dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, the cherry on top of a perfect wish.
