(WFXR) – As we’re past the first week after a cyber attack put a halt on the Colonial Pipeline, we take a look to see how gas supplies are faring at gas stations in central and southwest Virginia.
As of Saturday afternoon, here are the numbers.
Roanoke reported nearly half of all gas stations were operating with limited fuel supply, according to GasBuddy.com. Gas stations in the northern part of the city appeared to be faring better, generally speaking, than gas stations in the southern part of the city – as far as supplies go.

Lynchburg was faring similarly to Roanoke but the gas stations that are running on limited supplies are more spread out throughout the city, according to GasBuddy.com.

Gas stations in Danville are generally running with a decent supply of gas, though stations along Route 58 do appear to be running on a lower supply, versus the rest of the Danville metro, according to GasBuddy.com.

A high majority of stations in Martinsville are running with a full supply. There are a few stations spread out around town with limited supply, but as a whole, most stations have plenty of gasoline, according to GasBuddy.com.

Most stations in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area are said to have a decent supply of gasoline, according to GasBuddy; though, there are stations that are running low. Radford seems to be doing very well with gas supplies. Supplies are a bit more sporadic between Christiansburg and Blacksburg.

A tad over half of the stations in and around Pulaski are reported limited supplies of gasoline. There are a few stations out Route 100 that report full supplies of gas. In town, if you leave Main Street, you’ll likely find fewer issues finding gas.

Generally, stations in Wytheville are running low on gas; however, if you had out of town, you likely won’t find too much difficulty finding gas, says GasBuddy.com.

Bedford stations, for the most part, are doing okay with supplies, though in town, you might have difficulty, says GasBuddy.com.

Gas stations along I-81 in the Lexington area seem to be running on a decent supply; however locations in town, there are a few stations with a low supply. It’s about 50/50, according to GasBuddy.com In and around Buena Vista, one station along Route 60 is running on limited supply. Other stations are checking in fine.

Covington/Clifton Forge/Hot Springs
There are virtually no problems with supplies of gasoline in Covington or Clifton Forge. Petticoat Junction on Route 687 near Clearwater Park is the only station that last reported limited supplies.
