Horsepasture Fire Chief, wife die in car crash

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Horsepasture Volunteer Fire Department mourns the loss of Chief Charles Bradshaw and his wife Sherri.

According to Henry County officials, Bradshaw and his wife died on Friday due to injuries sustained in a vehicle crash.

“We are grateful for Chief Bradshaw’s service, unwavering courage as a first responder, and his dedication to protecting citizens,” says Deputy County Administrator Dale Wagoner. “We are also very grateful for the sacrifices made for our community by his wife Sherri.”

As mentioned in a Facebook post by the Horsepasture Volunteer Fire Department, Bradshaw served as Chief since 2007.
