BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Hokie Nation may have just made your new favorite sweet treat, Hokie Tracks.
It’s a Hokie-inspired ice cream made in collaboration between Virginia Tech’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ Department of Food Science and Technology and Burnt Chimney’s Homestead Creamery.
From chocolate chip cookie dough to butter pecan, Homestead Creamery Inc. has over six flavors. The new addition is a vanilla-based ice cream featuring a combination of savory and sweet flavors with salted caramel swirls and chocolate-covered pretzel pieces.
The Hokie Tracks ice cream is available in stores at a few locations throughout Virginia and at the Homestead Creamery Farm Market located at 7254 Booker T Washington Highway. To find a location near you and learn more about the ice cream, visit the Homestead Creamery website.
