Henry County officials encourage public’s help in solving weekend homicide

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone who may have information about a body found at a residence on Arrowhead Circle in Spencer on Sunday to give them a call.

Police say that when they arrived on-scene Sunday morning, they found the body of a black male dressed in dark clothing behind the residence of 400 Arrowhead Circle.

An autopsy was conducted on Monday and was identified; however, the person’s identity is being withheld while the family who lives outside of the area is contacted.

The death has been ruled as a homicide.

If anyone has any information regarding the incident, you are asked to contact Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463).

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information related to the crime.
