Hurricane Michael is continuing to gain strength and a Danville non-profit is on standby to respond if needed.

After Hurricane Florence hit the Carolinas, God’s Pit Crew sent 28 tractor-trailer loads of relief supplies, more than 7,500 Blessing Buckets, and a volunteer crew that worked for two weeks cleaning up.

“As we continue our efforts in helping those affected by Hurricane Florence, we are closely watching Michael as it heads toward the U.S. Coast,” said God’s Pit Crew Founder and President Randy Johnson.

An emergency Blessing Bucket assembly night has been scheduled for this Thursday, October 11, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at God’s Pit Crew’s upper distribution center.

Their goal is to assemble 2,000 buckets.
