Franklin County Sheriff’s Office arrests wanted woman

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a wanted woman posing as an escort on social media. 

Here is the full report: 

“*Incident: Wanted Person

* Incident Reported: 1/3/19

* Location of Incident: Franklin County, VA

o Suspect #1 Name: Tabitha Danielle Amos or Wirtz, VA

o Suspect #1 Age: 29

o Charges: (Outstanding warrants)

* Manufacture/Possess controlled substance

* Possession of Controlled substance

* Felony Child Endangerment

* Revocation of Suspended Sentence

Additional remarks: On 1/3/19, members of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit began an investigation in to a wanted subject that was posing as an “escort” on social media. Investigators established communication with the subject and arranged for a meeting. Investigators made contact with Tabitha Danielle Amos who was currently wanted on outstanding charges. Amos was arrested on the outstanding charges and is currently being held in the Western Virginia Regional Jail without bond. The case is currently under investigation and additional charges may be pending.”
