Franklin County announces new board of supervisors clerk

The County of Franklin, Va. has announced that Madeline Sefcik has accepted the position of clerk to the Board of Supervisors.

Sefcik holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in American Politics from Roanoke College.

Before coming to Franklin County, Sefcik served as Deputy Clerk to the Board of Supervisors for Roanoke County, including administrative responsibilities in support of the County Attorney’s Office.

During her junior and senior years at Roanoke College, Sefcik served as a Franklin County Administrator’s office intern.

She completed projects in the areas of Clerk to the Board of Supervisors, Social media, broadband needs assessment, purchasing, information technology, and finance.

“The County is pleased Ms.Sefick has joined the Administrative staff as she has a productive record of administrative experience and leadership qualities,” stated Mr. Robertson.
