Feeling the blues this Holiday Season? Doctors say this is normal for this time of year

Doctors say this time of year, people can put a lot of pressure on expectations vs. realities. 

They say some people’s moods can change including being sad, snapping at people, lack of energy, and  sleep can be affected. 

Doctors say these are all normal symptoms of seasonal depression or holiday blues. 

It maybe the stress of getting gifts for family and friends or losing a loved one this time of year and realizing they will not be around for the holiday. 

Doctors say to get better, connect with people and surround your self with the people you love. 

Taking care of yourself and exercise and also try to get enough sleep.

Doctors say most people will experience these symptoms at some point over this holiday season. 

Doctors say if you are feeling like your bad mood will not go away after a couple of weeks or it is affecting your job or life in general, it’s best to seek medical help.
