FBI increases reward for suspect information in Danville armed robbery case

Investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying the individual(s) responsible for an armed robbery which resulted in the death of a store clerk in 2017. 

Tahir Mahmud’s body was found inside the Joy Food Mart on September 12, 2017 in Danville when authorities were called to the store for a reported robbery. 

A reward of $7,500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of anyone responsible for the robbery and Mr. Mahmud’s death. 

The suspect is described as a slender black man.
