Family Expo comes to Roanoke

Local News
Parents will get a chance to learn more about services for their families on Saturday.
“Growing up in the Valley” is hosting a free family expo at the Sheraton Hotel. Organizers say an event like this is popular in many communities across the United States, and it’s happening for the first time for Roanoke.
“We hope that parents and kids get to at least take away a business or two that they didn’t know existed in the area, a service that maybe they weren’t aware of that the Roanoke Valley has to offer,” said Josh Eagan, owner of the magazine.
The expo will also have games and activities for the kids, like a petting zoo, magician and inflatables. Eagan says they’re expecting more than 2,000 people at the event.  Click here for more information.
