Local News
Washington had the day off Sunday from training camp.
As far as preseason predictions for the 2017 “Skins, they are all over the map.
A lot of the publications have Washington finishing any where from 6-10 to 10-6.
During the first few days of training camp, many national media outlets are in Richmond checking out Washingon.
One of those media members is ESPN’s Dianna Russini.
She covers the NFL for ESPN but she also covered the ‘Skins when she worked for a Washington, D.C. TV station.
Russini says she feels strongly about the burgundy and gold this season.
“I think this team can win the division. Than is saying a lot since we know what is in the division. You have Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott on the Cowboys. Eli Manning is not getting worse, we know that for a fact. The Eagles are doing a lot and They have a lot of confidence with Carson Wentz. I think this team has the ability to go back to the playoffs this year,” said Russini.
