Two Virginia Tech students allegedly involved in the murder of a thirteen year old Blacksburg girl are in court.
Natalie Keepers is accused of being an accomplice to the murder of Nicole Lovell last January.
Her pre-trial hearings continue Monday.
Keeper’s lawyers have filed a motion to move back the trial date which is set for later this month as well as ask for one or two more pre-trial hearings because of the complexity of the case.
Back in January, Keeper’s defense lawyers argued her confession should be thrown out of trial because they claim at the time she had not been read her Miranda rights properly.
A Judge may rule whether or not a jury will be able to hear that confession as evidence.
Keepers is charged with concealing and body as well as being an accessory before the murder.
David Eisenhauer is charged with the concealing a body, abduction and first degree murder.
His trial has been pushed back until November of this year.
