Earth Fare is celebrating one year in Roanoke!

On Saturday, January 5 the store will celebrate bringing healthier food to Southwest Virginia with a Customer Appreciation event. They will kick off just before 7:00 a.m. with a cake cutting ceremony featuring a $1,000 donation to the Roanoke Community Garden Association.

The association is a Roanoke-based organization that establishes community gardens, an urban orchard, and multiple schoolyard garden projects in the city.

The first 100 shoppers will also get a mystery gift card with a value of up to $500.

In its first year, the grocery store was named in the Roanoker magazine’s Best of 2018 in multiple categories including: 

  • “The Best Natural Food Store”- Gold Honor
  • “The Best Everyday Food Store”- Silver Honor
  • “The Best New Business”- Silver Honor
  • “The Best Thing (Grand Opening Events) To Happen in Roanoke”- Silver Honor
