Several dozens of Radford students who thought they were registered to vote in Radford were turned away at the polls because they were actually registered at their home addresses.

The Radford General Registrar of Voters Tracy Howard says most of the students were registered to vote in Radford at some point.

However, when he looked into their records he found that many of them had done some type of transaction with the Department of Motor Vehicles and it kicked their info on their registration back to the address on their license, which in most cases was not in Radford.
