Deputies need help in identifying a suspect behind some catalytic converter thefts in Southside

PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Patrick County Sheriff’s Office is hoping that the community will help them identify the person behind stolen catalytic converters around Southside Virginia.

Deputies say they received several calls regarding thieves targeting large box and work trucks around Patrick, Henry, and Franklin counties, as well as the City of Martinsville.

The sheriff’s office released a picture of one suspect who was seen in the Martinsville/Henry County area. Deputies say the man was wearing a mask and has a beard and a neck tattoo.
