RIDGEWAY, Va. (WFXR) – Henry County deputies are investigating after human remains were found in Ridgeway.
A call came into the Martinsville-Henry County 911 Center at around 4:27 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, according to a release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, reporting possible human remains. They were found at the intersections of Horsepasture Price Road and Wagon Trail Road. Deputies who arrived on the scene found the body of a man, later identified as 28-year-old Raymond Allen, Junior.
Investigators said preliminary findings do not point to foul play. The body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office in Roanoke for an official cause and manner of death.
