DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – In August, a Danville grand jury indicted two men on first-degree murder charges as well as robbery and other related firearms charges for the shooting of Caleb Morris in 2019.

According to Danville Police, Guren L. Clemons, 25, from Danville is currently being held at the Danville City Jail without bond after being transported from Charlotte County on unrelated charges when law enforcement served Clemons with these indictments.

Back in May of 2019, police responded to a call of a person being shot in the 1000 block of Lanier Avenue in Danville.

When police arrived, they found Morris inside suffering from a gunshot wound.
