UPDATE 9/23 AT 6:16 P.M. ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Department of Transportation reports the crash on I-81 South in Rockbridge County is now cleared.
At this time, all southbound lanes are open.

ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Drivers traveling on Interstate 81 South on Saturday afternoon can expect delays due to a vehicle crash in Rockbridge County.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the crash occurred on Sept., 23 at mile marker 176.7, near the Red Mills area.
Currently, the south left shoulder and left lane are closed. Traffic is backed up for over two miles.
