Commonwealth Transportation Board to discuss roads, projects around southwest, central Virginia Thursday

(WFXR) — For the next week, the Commonwealth Transportation Board will continue to hold virtual meetings on roads and projects around Virginia. On Thursday, in particular, the board will discuss upcoming work in the Staunton and Lynchburg districts.

Members of the public are invited to attend and share your thoughts on some of these projects. The meeting information for three local VDOT districts over the next week is listed below:

  • Staunton District (Alleghany County, Bath County, Buena Vista, Covington, Highland County, Lexington, and Rockbridge County)
  • Lynchburg District (Amherst County, Appomattox County, Campbell County, Charlotte County, Danville, Halifax County, Lynchburg, Nelson County, and Pittsylvania County)
  • Salem District (Bedford County, Botetourt County, Carroll County, Craig County, Floyd County, Franklin County, Galax, Giles County, Henry County, Martinsville, Montgomery County, Pulaski County, Radford, Roanoke City, Roanoke County, and Salem)
