CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia State Police have reported that a Charlotte County man was killed in an accident on January 23rd, just south of Buffalo Creek Lane.
Around 6:09 pm on Monday the 23rd, officers arrived on the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Tobacco Hill Road involving a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by 64-year-old Dennis J. Burwell of Drakes Branch. Burwell was traveling south when he went off the roadway on the left side, which caused his truck to flip over.
Police say Branch was not wearing a seatbelt. Emergency responders pronounced him deceased on the scene.
