CDC says it’s not too late to get the flu shot

Local News

According to the CDC, 37 children have died so far in the US.

That is since October 1st which they say is the start of flu season.

Now the CDC is stressing to people that you need to get the shot and not the nasal spray vaccination.

They say this year that they highly recommended getting the flu shot instead of the nasal spray because it is less effective in fighting against the flu.

The CDC says even if you haven’t gotten your flu shot yet, it’s not too late.

They say the flu shot will take about two week before it is actually effective.

On their website…The CDC has a vaccine finder where you can go to find out places to get the flu shot.
