One place that needs to be prepared for whatever comes our way this weekend is Carilion Cilinc.
Employees started early this week prepping for the potential snow.
They say equipment has been prepped especially ambulances to get ready for rough roads.
“We make sure that the tires are good. We also make sure that the vehicles have chains and are ready to go into the areas that may not see a snow plow for a couple of days,” said Craig Bryant, Director of Emergency Management and Safety for Carilion Clinic.
Officials say safety is their number one priority for their staff and patients.
The hospital and command center will be staffed to be ready for the storm.
