Car crash causing backups, downed power lines in Roanoke County

According to Roanoke County dispatch, a driver hit a power pole and it is causing downed power lines and back-ups this morning. 

Officials got the call around 2:08 this morning. 

AEP and police are on the scene. 

According to dispatch, police are redirecting traffic on Catawba Valley Drive. 

Right now power has been cut from 2381 Catawba Valley Drive to Catawba Hospital. 

According to AEP, 952 customers are without power right now.
