Officers responded to a crash between a pickup truck and a bicycle at Plantation Road and Williamson Road in Roanoke County on Thursday afternoon.
According to a press release, Roanoke County Police say the crash occurred at 5:30 p.m. The cyclist was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation and police say that charges are pending.
