BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — First responders from several stations faced heavy flames on Friday after arriving at the scene of a garage fire in Bedford County.
On Friday, Feb. 7, units from Bedford Fire Department, Moneta Volunteer Fire Department, Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Fire Department, and Bedford County Department of Fire and Rescue were dispatched to Shepherd Lane after receiving reports of a garage fire, according to fire officials.
Bedford Fire Department says that medics arrived on the scene first and saw heavy fire coming from a detached garage.
After a wagon arrived on the scene soon after, members of the crew reportedly assumed a fire attack to bring the fire under control. Fire officials say there are no reports of injuries.
