Armed robbery reported at a Danville business

Police in Danville are investigating an armed robbery. 

It happened at the Ballou Park Hair Center on Wooding Avenue at about 1:15 p.m.  

According to the press release a man came into the business, showed a gun and demanded money from an employee and a customer who were inside.  

The man was able to get money from both victims and then left on foot.  

No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

The Danville Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Ballou Park Hair Center located at 106 Wooding Ave.

Today at approximately 1:15pm, a black male in his 30’s walked into the business, produced a handgun and demanded money from an employee and a customer inside the business. The suspect then left the business on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of money from each victim. There were no shots fired and no reported injuries.

The suspect is further described as being slender, wearing green jogging pants, black stocking cap, and a black hooded sweatshirt.
