Officials at an apartment complex that was impacted by flooding from the remnants of Hurricane Michael have responded to concerns from tenants that were highlighted in a WFXR News report.
In a written statement emailed to WFXR News, officials at The Riverwalk said crews are working around the clock to repair apartments that were damaged last week.
The Riverwalk is encouraging tenants to contact FEMA to see if they are eligible for flood damage aid.
According to the statement, The Riverwalk is offering displaced tenants the option of moving to an upper level furnished apartment with new furniture, or the option to move and have their deposit refunded immediately.
The statement also said residents have the option to wait and return to their flooded apartment once repairs are completed.
