CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (WFXR) — The Clifton Forge Police Department says they have one person in custody after linking him with multiple robberies in the area.

Officers say that a juvenile male is in custody from the events on Friday, Jan. 15, after he was said to have taken a gun from one vehicle to take another in Clifton Forge.

Police say the juvenile reportedly broke into a vehicle on McCormick Boulevard on Friday night and stole a firearm.

He then used that firearm to obtain a vehicle on Rose Avenue.

That vehicle has been recovered, police say.

Officers also say that the juvenile has been linked to another stolen vehicle taken from Botetourt County.
