CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (WFXR) — Clifton Forge…it’s time to get ready for a community spring cleaning! That’s the word from organizers with the Corridor Curb Appeal Vision 2025.

The annual Spring Spruce-Up Day will take place on Saturday, April 24, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., where the Corridor Curb Appeal Committee will be working with Clifton Forge Town Hall officials to extend the clean-up to the entire town.

Participation is open to anyone from neighborhood groups to Downtown Merchants, Adopt-a-Spot participants, and those who simply enjoy strolling around trails and using the town’s parks.

The Corridor Curb Appeal Volunteers will meet at Town Hall at 8 a.m. on April 24 and will collect litter and debris from the entrance corridors into Clifton Forge.

Special attention will be given to the tunnels on Main Street and the areas near exits 24 and 27 off I-64.

Those volunteering will be supplied with orange safety vests and orange trash backs to collect trash.

Masks are required if you work with volunteers outside of your friend or family groupings.

Trash pick-up tools, as well as work gloves, are being suggested for those who are volunteering to bring with them.
