HIGHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The 62nd Highland County Maple Festival got underway over the weekend for the first time since 2019.

The coronavirus pandemic led to the cancellation of the event for the last two years.

This year, though, the festival has something for the entire family, offering a true cultural and culinary adventure.

Chris Swecker, the executive director for the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, joined “Good Day Virginia” to provide a recap of this past weekend and preview the festival’s upcoming final weekend.
