One of summer’s favorite fruits is back in season.
Peaches are back , along with beans, zucchini, squash and peppers.
With the temperatures so hot and dry, many local farmers were concerned about their crops.
But the owner of Woods Farms in Franklin County, Mark Woods, says the heat helped his crop.
“We’re about mid-way thru we’re picking freestone peaches now they’ve got a great flavor all this good dry weather we’ve had juice is not diluted from all the rain and they’ve got a really good flavor.”
