A man has been arrested after a stabbing in Roanoke County.
It happened at 12:31 p.m. in the 7700 block of College View Court.
A caller told police that a mad had been stabbed and that a male suspect was seen running down the road.
Alan Taylor was arrested shortly after the call and has been charged.
Both the victim and the suspect are related and both were taken to the hospital for injuries gotten during the incident.
Hollins University was notified about the incident, just after the first call was received.

(Roanoke County, VA) – At 12:31 pm Officer’s from the Roanoke County Police were dispatched to a stabbing in the 7700 block of College View Court. The 911 caller advised that a male party had been stabbed and that the male suspect was last seen running down the road. At 12:34 the first officer arrived on-scene and observed a male subject matching the suspect description. The suspect (Alan Taylor, 31 of Roanoke County) was taken into custody shortly after being spotted. Both the victim and the suspect are related and both were transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained during the incident. Hollins University Security staff was made aware by emergency communications staff of the incident shortly after the initial call for service. Warrants have been obtained for Alan Taylor for Felony Aggravated Malicious Wounding.
