Twenty one presidential elections.
For his one hundred and fourth birthday, Corbin Reynolds received these letters from different leaders in Virginia.
“You work together and politics is the one way that we can work together,” said Jane Lyle, Corbin’s daughter.
Jane, Corbin’s daughter says she is happy her dad taught her about politics..
“Been very civic minded since he was a young man and worked hard for the community and worked hard for the democratic party through the years with their different campaigns,” said Jane Lyle, Corbin’s daughter.
And like a good citizen, on Election Day, Corbin was in line ready to vote.
“Well I’ll tell you what. I voted for Hilary,” said Corbin Reynolds III, 104 year old voter.
“A lot of people were filled with joy to see a 104 year old go and know who he was voting for. He is well read. He reads the paper every day. So he was ready to vote,” said Jane Lyle, Corbin’s daughter.
The very first candidate, Corbin every voted for?
President Franklin Roosevelt in 1936.
“Roosevelt, I would consider him the cream of all of them,” said Corbin Reynolds III, 104 year old voter.
After seeing the results of this election, Corbin has just one thing to say.
“It’s one of those things, you never know,” said Corbin Reynolds III, 104 year old voter.
Corbin’s daughter says he is already to vote in the next election.
