Walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinics take place this week in the Roanoke Valley

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts say that walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics will take place this week at several locations in the Roanoke Valley.

Sites hosting these clinics include:

  • Tuesday, June 22
    • Ridgeview Apartments at 5300 Hawthorne Road NW in Roanoke
  • Wednesday, June 23
    • Pilgrim Baptist Church at 1415 Eighth Street NW in Roanoke
  • Wednesday, June 23
    • Virginia Western Community College’s Fralin Building HP208/210 at 3090 Colonial Avenue SW in Roanoke
  • Thursday, June 24
    • Virginia Career Works at 3601 Thirlane Road NW in Roanoke
  • Friday, June 25
    • Mt. Zion AME at 2128 Melrose Avenue NW in Roanoke

Each of these clinics runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the dates above, will dispense the Pfizer vaccine, and are open to residents of the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts age 12 and older.
