Vaccine clinic scheduled in Roanoke for individuals with disabilities

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts will have a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in northeast Roanoke on Wednesday catered toward people with disabilities.

The clinic will take place on Wednesday, May 5 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Independent Living Center at 1502B Williamson Road NE, inside of the Civic Mall.

Special accommodations will be made that includes offering assistance with transportation, American sign language interpreters, and scribes for the vision-impaired.
