Two Pittsylvania County schools to operate remotely until Monday due to COVID-19

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Students at two public schools in Pittsylvania County will not return to the classroom until at least Monday due to staffing and other problems presented by the coronavirus.

A representative for the school district told WFXR News that Chatham Middle School and Hurt Elementary School students will work remotely on Thursday, Jan. 21, and Friday, Jan. 22.

At this time, these two schools are set to resume face-to-face classes on Monday, Jan. 25.
