Coronavirus

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Three staff members tested positive for COVID-19 at Round Hill Elementary, according to Roanoke City Public Schools’ Facebook page. In-person instruction will be impacted, as a result.

Round Hill Elementary School will close for the next two weeks out of an abundance of caution. The decision was made after consultation with the Virginia Department of Health, the school system said.

Meal pick-ups on Tuesdays and Thursdays will move to James Breckinridge Middle School. There is no word on when that may return to normal.
