Sovah Health in Martinsville, Danville to host separate ‘Frontline Heroes Parades’ this week

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – Sovah Health has planned to pay tribute to local fire, EMS, police and all first responders by holding two separate parades to be held simultaneously at each branch of Sovah Health in Martinsville and Danville.

Each parade will be held around each Sovah facility between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.

The Martinsville parade will begin on Hospital Drive and will proceed to the main Sovah Health parking lot before circling around the parking lot and exiting on Hospital Drive.

Those taking part in the Martinsville parade can tune to B99.9FM to hear special “thank you” and “inspirational” messages during the parade.

Anyone wanting to submit a special message can either record it and send it to B99.9FM or call in to the station for it to be recorded.

The Danville parade will begin at the Central Boulevard / Walgreens intersection as it heads toward Sovah Health. It will conclude on Main Street.

Those taking part in the Danville parade can tune to WAKG / WBTM to hear special “thank you” and “inspirational” messages during the parade.

Anyone wanting to submit a special message for this parade can either record it and sent it to WAKG / WBTM or call in to the station for it to be recorded.
