Positive coronavirus case reported from Campbell County’s Brookville High

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Campbell County school officials announced that a person from Brookville High School has tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to a statement from Campbell County Public Schools, school officials learned of the positive case from Brookville High on Friday, Nov. 13.

The school district says the person in question was instructed to isolate. Meanwhile, any close contacts associated with this person have reportedly been told to start their quarantine period.

“Campbell County Schools will continue to implement strategies to mitigate the spread of Covid-19,” said Denton Sisk, Director of Student Support Services for the school district. “The health and wellbeing of our students, faculty, and community are our primary concern.”
