NASHVILLE, TN (WFXR) – Officials with O’Charley’s have announced the temporary closure of its Christiansburg restaurant, located at 150 Laurel Street after a team member has tested positive for COVID-19.
“While the individual had not worked for nearly a week, we closed the store in an abundance of caution. Also, anyone who had worked with this individual is being tested, even though no symptoms have been reported as part of our daily checklist for all team members. No one who worked with this individual will be able to return to work until they have either self-quarantined for 14 days and remain symptom free or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result. The temporary closing allowed the building to be professionally cleaned and sanitized to address any potential COVID-19 related risks. We will reopen only after this is completed.”
O’Charley’s Spokesperson
O’Charley’s apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure has on its guests and staff, but they say it is important to “fulfill our commitment to ensure the highest health and safety standards.
